CSD provided structural design of 240,000 square feet of architectural cladding panels for this 67-story mixed-use building including hotel, condominiums, and parking. It was believed to be the tallest architectural precast concrete cladding project at the time of construction. Design challenges included resisting high wind loads determined from an independent wind tunnel study, and accommodating tall building axial shortening and lateral deflections. Due to the extremes of the project, additional consideration was needed to provide for ease of erection and panel adjustment including allowances for building superstructure tolerances.
