Saint Clare’s Hospital is a 650,000 square-foot full service medical campus located in north-central Wisconsin. CSD provided engineering and drafting services on the various campus buildings for the architectural precast concrete cladding subcontractor.

Cladding panels spanned both horizontally and vertically and featured multiple finishes including inset brick, stone and acid etching. Careful attention to detail allowed for the panels to successfully integrate and interface with adjoining materials and the main structural supporting frame.

Services Provided:

Panelization of cladding components to satisfy manufacturing, transportation and erection constraints.

Engineering and detailing of panel connections to support panels and interface with base structure.

Panel reinforcement design to satisfy handling and transportation as well as environmental loading requirements.

Complete panel detailing/drafting to be used both by the erecting contractor to set the panels and the panel manufacturer to accurately produce the various panels.
