CSD Experts Present at NASCC 2026

Mar 19, 2026 | Featured

CSD Structural Engineers will have a strong presence at NASCC: The Steel Conference in Atlanta this April, with team members presenting in seven technical sessions across the three-day event. Our presentations span critical topics in structural steel design — from crane runway girders and base connections to delegated design best practices and connection design for NASA’s Mobile Launcher 2.

Adam Friedman opens the conference’s first day with a session on delegated stair collaboration, while Casey Peterson and Josh Szmergalski close out Wednesday with insights from CSD’s work on the Artemis program’s launch infrastructure. Throughout the conference, CSD engineers will share practical expertise drawn from decades of experience with complex industrial structures, high-rise buildings, and aerospace facilities. Mike Kempfert serves on the Conference Planning Committee and will moderate multiple sessions. NASCC: The Steel Conference takes place April 22-24, 2026 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. See below for the full list of CSD expert presenters and links to their sessions.
