CSD Structural Engineers is proud to serve as Engineer of Record for the structural design of Blue Origin’s Tank Assembly Building in Merritt Island, Florida. This impressive 120′ x 120′ x 158′ structure features a unique design utilizing tower crane sections for its column structure, complemented by fabricated roof trusses and a fabric exterior.
Our team provided comprehensive engineering services for both the structure and foundations, including specialized design for the facility’s 30-ton overhead crane support system. This critical infrastructure will enable Blue Origin’s continued advancements in space technology manufacturing.
