CSD Structural Engineers served as Engineer of Record for the equipment foundations at Aluminum Dynamics’ new recycled aluminum flat rolled mill in Columbus, Mississippi. This massive facility will produce 650,000 metric tons of aluminum annually for the beverage can, automotive, and industrial industries. Our team designed reinforced concrete foundations throughout the Hot Mill, Cold Mill, Roll Shop, and High-Bay Storage Systems, including complex base mat foundations, basement retaining walls, and elevated slabs. Using RAM Concept software for structural analysis and Revit for 3D modeling, CSD delivered comprehensive foundation designs and anchorage systems to support critical aluminum-making equipment.
