Christopher Kuenzli, PE, SE
Principal

Christopher Kuenzli joined CSD in 2012. He was promoted to Associate in 2013, Senior Associate in 2017, and Principal in 2021. Chris has worked primarily on the design of industrial projects including steel and specialty structures, reinforced concrete structures and foundations, existing structures with new loading situations, and the design of remedial retrofits. He is also involved in the investigation and review of damage to existing reinforced concrete structures, and the peer review of reinforced concrete and post-tensioned slab design.

He has extensive experience in the design of mid-rise (6-14 stories) concrete frame structures for residential applications using cast-in-place post-tensioned slab systems, post-tensioned transfer beam systems, concrete shear walls, columns and foundations. He has experience in the design of multiple types of concrete foundations including conventional footings, driven pile foundations, drilled pier foundations, mat foundations, and retaining wall structures. He also has experience in the design of low-rise masonry buildings for commercial uses.

Chris enjoys backpacking, hiking, camping, and many other outdoor activities. He also enjoys traveling, computer games and board games. He is a volunteer with a non-profit church group, Milwaukee Bible Students.
