Clayton Cloutier, PhD, PE

Senior Associate

Clayton Cloutier joined CSD in 2016. He was promoted to Associate in 2023 and Senior Associate in 2026. Clayton has worked primarily on the design of ASRS rack supported buildings, heavy industrial structures for steel mill facilities, crane runway buildings, equipment supporting platforms, steel exhaust stacks, and other specialized nonbuilding structures. Additionally, he has worked on other major projects that focused on construction engineering and connection design. Clayton is an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) and serves on the Industrial Advisory Council for the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department at UWM.

Clayton enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, spending time outside by Lake Michigan, exploring new restaurants and breweries, and being with his family.
