Mitchell Behnke, PE
Mitchell Behnke joined CSD Structural Engineers in 2019 and was promoted to Associate in 2025. He specializes in the structural design of heavy industrial crane runways, buildings, and foundations. His expertise extends to inspection and analysis of existing crane runways, structural design of equipment support structures, and connection design.
Mitchell has presented on industrial building and crane runway design at the AISC Steel Conference, sharing his expertise with industry professionals. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE), contributing to the education of the next generation of structural engineers.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in May 2018, followed by a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in December 2019. Mitchell is a licensed Professional Engineer in Wisconsin and is an active member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).
Outside of work, Mitchell enjoys running, hunting, and spending time outdoors.
