This structure was an addition to a cement production facility located in Tehachapi, CA, constructed in 2017. This structure supports numerous conveyors and pieces of equipment including large material storage bins. Two design challenges related to this project included potential for significant vibratory loading on the structure from supported equipment and high seismic demand.
