Longstanding client relationships are the basis for many of the projects to which CSD brings expertise. The construction of the Shockwave Hanger in Jacksonville, Florida added  370,000 square feet of space for aircraft maintenance and overhaul within the hangar as well as office space to Cecil Airport.

The structure included tall vertical braced frames that cantilevered from the foundation before supporting continuous long span trusses. Trusses were evaluated for stability during lifting and initial placement on the structure. CSD worked with the erector to design lift points, rigging layout, and determine the ideal sequence of operations. Based on the project location and construction schedule, CSD provided additional guidance for hurricanes.
