The ExxonMobil Energy Center was recently featured in the 2015 Spring Edition of the Steel Erectors Association of America (SEAA) Connector magazine. CSD provided construction engineering services including the design and layout of temporary bracing, erection sequencing, lift planning and review, and hurricane contingency planning. CSD collaborated with the steel erector, steel detailer/fabricator, and engineer of record throughout the project. CSD worked directly with the steel erector to provide solutions that were erector friendly and ensured proper stability while meeting the project requirements for tolerances.
This project received Honorable Mention for SEAA’s 2013 Steel Erection Project of the Year.
